I am due at the end of March with my first child. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to use for post partum bleeding, etc? I would like to use cloth for PP, but am unsure of amounts and brands. HELP!

I'm looking forward to postpartum cloth, too. One of my tasks today is to find the site that has the postpartum pants. The shorts or pants are made to hold a pad.
I know that I'm NOT going with GladRags. I have one overnight/postpartum pad, and it's OK. But just OK. I think I want fleece instead of flannel. For me fleece is easier to take care of. It's more forgiving and doesn't stain as easily.

what about using cloth diapers? you can soak them in a hydrogen peroxide solution until you wash them, then wash in cold water.
I think cloth diapers are very comfy and much more absorbent than flannel cloth pads.

I used my baby's prefolds. Didn't do anything special to them, just rinsed in cold water and threw in with the rest of the diapers. Didn't use any special panties, either. Never had a leak, but I didn't bleed very heavily at all.

I used only cloth PP after DD#2.
This is what worked for me:
1 PP Glad Rags great for overnight.
4 Snugwees WAHM mamapads 2 super 1 medium and 1 light
I just washed mine with dipes and never had a single leak and none of that PP smell
AF showed up too soon PP
I ordered some MOE (fuzzibunz-ish) pads and they are soft but not very absorbant.
