Accidentally washed Thirsties Duo Wrap with fabric softener

Did I ruin it? Can I just wash it in my reg detergent and do an extra rinse to save it?

I've only been CD for a week and a half and it is my favorite wrap!

it's just the cover kind right? you should be fine & can use it as is. Just wash it w/ your little one's clothing next time. That way any fabric softener that comes off it wont deposit on your diapers. Then you could go back to washing it w/ your diapers.

some people who use fleece covers purposly wash them w/ fabric softener to help them work better.

Its fine its sometimes reccomended to toss a leaky cover in with a dryer sheet or fabric softner to regain water proofness...
