BPA canning and storage

I've used the 4oz Ball glass canning jars for freezing breastmilk and baby food storage for the last year. Now I find that the lids contain BPA! I need an alternative for either the lids or the whole thing. Does anyone have ideas?

Since I store mine standing up I don't worry about the BPA (its only in the lid). Sure beats the BPA that lines the store bought canned food.

Another alternative is to buy the plastic freezer lids for canning jars if your freezing them. I'm fairly certain their #5 plastic (one of the 'safe' kinds). But, otherwise, as much as I hate the bpa in the lids, I'm *way* more OK with it than I am with storing things in most anything else - at least its not like my foods sitting in the bpa!!
