So my 2 DSs and I all had a pretty nasty virus a few weeks ago, lots of mucous, coughing, DS1 got an ear infection. I quit producing the mucous about a week ago but I've been getting this huge headache right in the middle of the day for a week. In the morning I'm totally fine, as well as in the evening.
I haven't changed my caffeine intake, eating protein doesn't help, I'm drinking plenty of water, drinking something with caffeine doesn't help, nasal rinse doesn't help.
The headache can be in my whole forehead and it is sometimes tender if I put pressure on my eyebrow area. sometimes the headache is in my cheek bone area and it's almost always at the base of my skull.
It hurts terribly if I bend over even a little bit.

So I would think sinus infection, which I know I just need to wait out and keep drinking liquids etc. but I have never had one before so I'm not sure.

would it make sense to only have a headache for a portion of the day and no other symptoms??

I had a lot of tension headaches as a teenager and this is much worse and really knocks me out right in the middle of the day.

any thoughts?
