I started spotting yesterday and today I am bleeding like I have my period. Rory was 2 months on the 18th. Is this possible?! Both other kids I didn't get my period back until they were 1 1/2!!! I don't know what else this could be, or if something is wrong. I never had a 6 week checkup but have an appointment scheduled for the 15th of April (my doctor is IMPOSSIBLE to get into) because I have been feeling a little "off." (Backache, pressure, discomfort). I am totally shocked. Do you know of anything else that could cause postpartum bleeding like this or am I doomed to have my period early this time? I can't believe it!!

I've seen lots of us reporting getting them back already. Ugh. I got mine at 5 mo. pp w/#1 - I sure don't want it any earlier than that, longer would be nice - don't have it yet. I nurse ALL THE TIME, and with #1 I nursed for like 45 min out of every hour round the clock lol, or at least it seemed like it...

I saw the title of this post & thought I had written it. I just went to the bathroom & I've started spotting too! What in the world? I got my period back around 6 months with my other two even though with all three I nursed all the time (and have been nursing a lot these past couple of days). Although I don't like the period part, I do use NFP & it is a lot easier to chart when I have my cycle back. Still kinda weird to me though!
ETA: Micah turned 8 weeks yesterday. (He will be 2 months on Tuesday.)

I feel like I could be a little more accepting of this if my period had returned even *semi* early with the other two. But WTH?! I've always gone like 18 months!! Thanking my lucky stars dh and I didn't have an oops--we haven't even began to consider any kind of postpartum birth control plan. This is supposed to be it for us! But we have been totally lax about it because the baby is just barely 2 months, for Pete's sake!! I am still not convinced something isn't WRONG and causing bleeding. I guess we will see what the next couple days bring. But it sure looks like a regular period! Ugh.

I like to think that my cycles start back very early because my hormones just recover quickly. I have always had mine return by 8 wks pp. So, I guess it is just normal for some. Although I don't really know why some get a break and others don't, or even why a person will get a break one time and not the next. I guess it just goes to show that life is unpredictable.

No sign here BUT I have my CM back. So, hmmm - who knows! Mid you honestly I still wouldn't go head over heels for birth control. Having another baby so close to Bella and Josie would for sure be super tiring, but not a disaster...lol. Hopefully for my own good my period won't return for several months - lol!

Yeah that was the first sign to me that I was PG but I wasn't avoiding and knew full well I had ovulated.

Other question - what's "regular between cycle spotting" mean? I've never had that before.
