Do you like $ store tests?

I'm 16DPO!!! And with the dollar store test I can't tell if there's a line or if I'm just imagining where a line should be! ARG! 16DPO!!!!!! (although this is according to FF, there's a tiny piece of me that things I could be 14DPO, so maybe AF is gonna show tomorrow!??!) http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mnhall

But, with my DD, I used a dollar store test at 12 & 13 DPO - BFN. Finally at 14 DPO I bought another test (can't remember now which one) and while I got a light line on the $ store test, it was a nice line on the other one.

DARN...I knew I should have just forked over the extra money and bought some good tests.

Anyone else ever in this boat?

Oh, and I'd totally be in the car right now driving to the store...but I'm babysitting a friend's little boy, so I have 3 kids and only 2 carseats!

Your chart looks great and I think $ trees are pretty good. Better IMO than the ICs even though it seems it's basically the same test with a plastic case wrapped around it.

Anyways, why is your O day an open circle on your chart?

It was actually the opposite for me, I got BFPs on $ Tree at 10 and 11 DPO while getting BFNs on FRER. So even though I got BFPs for two days I thought I had false positives.

i like them. do you have a pic of your test? same question about open circle as fm, but if that's a reliable temp, i do think that's when you o'd.

The open circle was an hour earlier than my normal test time!!! Hopefully that didn't effect it too much to throw off suspected O.

But regardless...I still had my pee in a cup, so I did another test...I guess the dye is different because this had a line within 5 minutes, very obvious (not super dark, but no question anymore) at 8 minutes...and the test time is 10 minutes.

So...no question now...BFP!

I haven't taken a picture yet, but now that it's clearer on the second test...I feel better about it!

Congrats!!! I love $ store tests! I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with twins and I STILL get super faint positives on FRERs and other name brands I had laying around. But $ store tests always give me huge thick lines.
