Silly Question: Do you wear shoes when you work out at home?

I rarely wear shoes inside my home to reduce dirt and wondered if any other momma did her exercise at home IN shoes.

I know it probably helps with alignment of your body and balance, but i feel way more balanced without shoes.

Another question: Do you wear pajamas to work out? Or do mommas get dressed in workout clothes?

It's a convenience thing for me. Id like to just jump right in to working out after chores rather than having to change to tie up shoes.

I never wear shoes to workout at home. My balance is better and my ankles and feet have gotten stronger w/o shoes. I usually wear yoga or track pants to sleep in, so I get up, throw on a sports bra and workout straight out of bed. You have to keep it simple at 4:45am

I never wear shoes to workout at home, and I figure that exercise pants are stretchy and so are my pajama pants so no big difference there. For me, these are the perks of being at home

I probably would if I were doing something high-impact, but all I do right now is yoga and I don't wear shoes for that.

I always wear shoes if there is any jumping or a lot or moving around involved in order to take off a little of the shock. I go barefoot for yoga. I always dress in workout clothes because for some reason it increases the intensity I bring to the workout.

If I'm using the cross trainer or rowing machine we have in our garage, yes I wear shoes! If I'm doing the Wii Fit, I don't. I often work out in my pj's but usually toss a bra on since I'm a DD and there's waaaay too much movement otherwise.

Usually, no, but if I'm doing something like The 30 Day Shred, I find the shock on my feet is too much, and have to wear good supporting shoes. I've had problems with my feet since I was a small child, so I don't like to irritate them any more than necessary.

I don't. I don't know which is better for me, but I'm just not real comfortable in shoes in my house.

I wear yoga pants and a tank top to workout. My pj's are thicker and I get hot. I think getting dressed kind of helps get me in the mood too.

I wear shoes. Shoes, not sneakers. Just the same shoes I wear in the house and around town. I like to wear shoes because I hate stubbing my toe on my kid's toys laying around.

I actually don't have any sneakers at the moment but I'm a very strange person.

workout clothes yes, shoes no.
I usually run in shoes and do yoga w/o. Yoga comes after running so I am in my sweaty clothes.
