BF for 6 months!

I know that many bf for much, much, much longer, especially on MDC.

BUT! My ds is 6 months old today, and he's been ebf all this time! 2.5 months of those I've been working ft and pumping. We had a rough start, and I"m so proud of sticking with it. No food, no formula, no water.

We are thinking of starting solids soon, (mostly DS's idea), but I'm going to remember forever the feeling that every thing that my son is today came from me. He's made of mama's milk!

DD turned 6 months on 2 March, and we're in the same boat with working- so I can definitely relate to how difficult, but worthwhile, it is!

great job! we are at 6 mos...she did not go to the breast consistently until ~ 4 wks old so i'm proud, too!
