Purple feet

AHH! Anyone ever experience this?

DD was in her Mei Tai for about an hour and a half yesterday, I had her in there nicely and she slept wonderfully. I was astonished last night when I discovered that the sole of her right foot had purple blotches on it!

Any tips on how to prevent this? That has never happened before. We own a moby wrap and a mei tai, this happened in the MT.

Does this mean it is time for her legs to dangle? She's 3mo old today. TIA!

Anyone? I've started letting her legs free and it doesn't happen.

I had it happen when my LO was younger - don't remember how old, but it got better as he got older. I know that's not really helpful. I would think just check her legs sometimes and adjust the position slightly if you can.

My DD's legs did not turn purple but they were colder than the rest of her, really cold and maybe a little darker.
At first I wasn't sure if it was the difference between them hanging out and the rest of her body warmer, but the next time she was in the wrap, I made sure her butt was down lower and her legs didn't get that way.
You could try adjusting her position that way.
