Major accomplishment!

This weekend, 5 kitchen bags of clothes/toys went out to The Salvation Army. Woo hoo!!!! 4 were clothing (mostly dd's) and 1 was toys.

I have 2 more bags (1 each of toys and clothing) to go to a friend who is having a surprise 5th baby. She'll also be getting our Britax bucket seat. And the baby swing. And the Mini Co-Sleeper. I just wish I could drop it all off before the baby's first birthday party on Saturday!

Congrats mama!!! What a great feeling. For me it was very freeing, but also sad, admitting that we are done having babies.

We got rid of baby gear this weekend and made $500 at our garage sale!!! Yippee!

Clothes didn't sell though ... so I still have 8 GIANT bags in the garage. yikes. I would like to sell them for $1 each not just donate!

Yeah, it is kind of sad for me, too. But, I figure that if God blesses us with another child, someone will be kind to us as we've been in while unloading this stuff. My SIL got the motherload of great clothing; a friend and someone here on MDC got a bunch of great CD's just used for my son and for a short time at that since he grew pretty quickly. Anyhoo, he'll be 1 on Friday, so, I'm really feeling it. Add to that that I turn 40 the following Saturday and you've got one big mama mess!

I have a few boxes of clothes I am working on right now... I can't wait until they're gone...
