Okay so my favorite book right now is The Emotional Life of the Toddler (Alicia F. Lieberman) - it's based more on Attachment Theory versus Attachment Parenting per se, but I still find it to be very interesting read about what life is like for a toddler. I read a amaz0n review that said she was very down on co-sleeping so I'm just not going to read that part!

My toddler just started day care and so her section on separation anxiety and day care has been very useful.
The only feeding/eating book that I have read is Baby-Led Weaning (Jill Rapley) and we basically just use that philosophy all along. As well as the principle of offering good, healthy food and giving my daughter the responsibility of choosing what she wants to eat.
The other parenting books that I like - but aren't particular to toddlerhood - are Unconditional Parenting (Alfie Kohn); Raising Our Children, Raising Ourselves (Naomi Aldort); and How to Talk so Kids Will Listen & Listen so Kids Will Talk (Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish). I'm pretty sure that none of these would be called particularly mainstream! But as far as I am concerned, they should be! ha!
Have fun with your toddler!!!
