I got a new Akita puppy on Saturday and inspected her belly and underside and saw no fleas. Fast forward to yesterday, my dh noticed that she had some little bugs crawling on her they are about 1/8" long with wings. We used flea shampoo and a comb and got all of them off. There was one in the bathroom today and I tried to squish it and it flew away. No jumping so I know it is not a flea, it was hanging out on the wall actually. When they were on the dog they were mostly on the head right next to a scab. Any idea what these could be????
