Oh yuck, is this PMS?

Well the three month long period went away when I went on the pill. I take my last active pill tonight.

Basically today I could have just sat down and cried, and no, nothing is wrong at all! I just felt like crying every five minutes.

I am exhausted. Even though I got like, 9 hours of sleep last night

I am soooooooooo grouchy. I can't even stand to be around my self

And I could eat a pound of chocolate and pretzels if I had them

I am guessing I am a woman now and I have PMS Anything I can do to help ease the symptoms? Mainly the grouchiness. I would have thought upping my sleep would have helped, but it didn't.

I am eating well and taking long walks.

Are you taking a pill that uses estrogen alone or estrogen and progesterone?

Those symptoms definitely sound like estrogen dominance. Maybe switching to a pill that has progesterone might help.

I don't know much about birth control pills, but Vitex and/or Indolplex help with PMS symptoms. As does progesterone cream (but I'll bet you shouldn't use the cream while talking the pill).

This happened to my sister after a few months on the pill.
It effects women differently.
I'd be tempted to look into other ways of balancing hormones if it continues.
Good luck!
