Im having another Autumn babe! I am so excited and wanting to get started on knitting some new things (especially because im feeling pukey and need things to distract me).. I have a favorite longie pattern, and always make a pilots cap or two, but I want to make other delicious newborn woolens.. any great suggestions? Pictures of examples? I'm on ravelry

I've not knit this, but, I've lusted after it ever since I saw the first prototype. It's the Small Things Romper. My little guy will be 18 mos come fall and wearing the last available size. I bought it yesterday. I did knit her Seamless Infant Kimono and it was a great, clearly written, knit.

I am something like 24 weeks and so far I have knit up 2 pairs of picky pants, a baby kimono sweater to match one of the pairs of picky pants, and a pair of baby socks. Still on my list are more baby socks and a few cutsy hats. Have you knit presto chango? I did one of those for my last baby in chocolate brown and it was super cute! OK- maybe another pair of picky pants in a very girly colorway even though my intuition tells me it is a boy.... just in case you know....

But don't forget about mama knitting too. You will need a pair or 3 of french press slippers, a super cute new snuggly wool cardigan and I think 2-3 pairs of knitted wool nursing pads. Oh and of course a couple of pairs of lush new socks.

Wow - I'm loving these. Too bad already having the baby cuts into my knitting time!! That romper is amazing (although seems a little impractical for diaper changing!).
