I came home from work today to a sick ds (4 1/2) - he had a fever of about 101 (ear) and was complaining of his feet and knees hurting, then his legs and feet and knees. That's all he was complaining of... sometimes tummy, but mostly he was tired. Does this sound like body aches? my boys haven't had the flu before, only things like short run stomach bugs and even that only 2 x or so.
Are there things you all do for body aches for your dc?
He has been having some ear fluid issues the last month, so I'm worried its an ear infection, put some ear drops in case. His brother once had a fever almost reaching 104 and it was due to a "raging" ear infection that we didn't even know about (no complaining of ear or head/jaw pain).
Anyway, really hoping this will be a short lived illness for everyone's sake.
Thanks for the thoughts on the aches. My boys don't seem to be very good at explaining what's wrong/painful for some reason... either they like the "medicine" so say stuff hurts or they don't like it (eye drops for pink eye or ear drops for ear pain) and say it doesn't hurt...
