Has anyone used Simply Grammar? It looks like a mostly oral approach. I've been looking at Simply Grammar, Primary Language lessons, First Language Lessons, and Writing With Ease. I don't think my ds, 8, would get much out of First Language Lessons. I can imagine him groaning, wiggling, and spacing out. There seems to be a lot of talking on the teacher's part. Simply Grammar looks to be simpler without all of the narration and dictation. Anyone have experience and opinions on any of these?
