rash issues

I'm washing in a fisher-paykel, one quick rinse followed by a heavy duty 'hot' wash ( our hot water heater is on its way out and only has about half a bathtub's worth of hot water at a time. I wash with six soap nuts, 1/4 cup of borax, 1 tbsp of tide with bleach and GSE (if I remember) We have a rain soft, but we were down to a few granules for a while. DD has been rashy for awhile now, I tried to put her in sposies to see if it was the cloth diapers, but her bum turned cherry red instead of patchy. We tried nystatin powder 2 wks ago, for a week I put it on 2x a day and the rash would look better the first diaper change, then red and patchy again. Then my friend gave me a tube of micanozole (sp?) and that worked the first day, but seemed to irritate her after that. For the past two days I've been avoiding suede cloth, she's only been in prefolds and a cover and I've used fresh tap water for wipes instead of the wipe warmer. I would have her coverless, except I can't snappy her prefolds on any more, they only work trifolded and my only wool wrap needs lanolizing. She looks a lot better, but still kinda scaly red on her thighs where the cover sits. Also, DS has been getting red at the tip of his foreskin and sometimes spreading down the perineum overnights(last night he was in a kushies and the very tip is red). Do you think she is still yeasty? Was it the sudecloth? Should I strip our pockets in the diswasher on heated wash since our hot water doesn't stay hot? any other suggestions?
TIA!

I would do everything you are except do a complete cold wash then hot wash and add 1-2 extra rinses at the end. This way all the ickies and soapies are def out of the diapers. Plus, LOTS of naked time until she heals up. HTH

Thank you, I will try more rinses and washing more frequently. I've been falling behind on chores being outside all day =p I did two loads yesterday and have at least one more to do today!
