My husband wants to set up a aquaculture/ hydroponics (symbiotic) system...
is anyone raising fish for personal consumption? What are you feeding them?
Don't particularly want to raise tilapia on corn....

My brother is working on it - we are going to feed them worms from our worm composting!

I'd like to. I have a purely ornamental koi pond in my greenhouse. Seems like I could be getting something tasty out of it!

my husband has been building a nice sized greenhouse from recycled windows that he placed over an old garbage pit so it has a huge hole in the middle which he plans on raising fish in at some point. It will end up being a chicken coop/greenhouse/fishpond. This may take a while as we've got 4 years in so far on the greenhouse which is only half done! But the chicken coop has been up and running for months now!!! Interested to hear if others are doing/planning something like this as well.....
