Wicked- the play

Not sure if this belongs here?? Move if neccesary!

Would you take an 8 year old to see the play Wicked?

I saw it myself 3 years ago and LOVED it but for the life of me I can't remember if there is anything inappropriate for a pretty mature but sensitive 8year old.

So ahve you seen it recently? What do you think? Or have taken any of your kids??

thanks!

My oldest is almost eight and I would absolutely take her because I know that she would love it. She enjoyed the book and it is far more disturbing than the play.

Mature but sensitive, I would say it's fine. There are definitely adult moments like Elphaba and Fiero hanging out in the forest or whatever And some scary bits... but I think that makes it not-for-a-little-kid, not bad for all mature kids.
