My 16 month old had an awful cold for over a week and spiked a 103 fever yesterday and was super cranky so I was guessing it may have gone to his ears. We just moved here two weeks ago and it is a tiny town with only one small family care clinic. I was feeling a little nervous, but I loved the Doctor! She asked about how much he had been eating and I said he hasn't really been eating much table food, but has been nursing like crazy. She said that is fabulous and it is the best thing I can do for him
It made me so happy and I told her before we left (he did have an ear infection poor guy) how much I appreciated the support for breastfeeding past a year. I just wanted to share with you Mamas this little positive experience we had with breastfeeding a toddler!

It is great to find a doctor who is supportive of extended nursing !
