DH has been complaining of a tender area that is quite sore (especially when he sits or bends), located in the left hand side of his lower abdomen/groin. Pretty well right at the groin, but only on the left side. While there is a focused area of tenderness and pain there, he sometimes gets radiating pain and pressure down his thigh and into his scrotum.
Our first assumption was that it is a hernia. However, his family doc sent him for an ultrasound which came back negative. They didn't see anything at all.
What are your thoughts? What could this be?
