Just wanted to pop by and let you know mama that my baby is now breech again at almost 37 weeks. You're not alone.

yep, I had a midwife app. today and baby is def. still breech.

she bought up ECV and DH and I have decided that we will not be trying that. I have 1 more chiro. and 1 more accupuncture (next week) and then im done. Baby will either turn or not. I will still do the spinningbabies stuff but that will be it.

Usually ECV by midwives is nothing like ECV done by the OB.

One of my twins was a stubborn breech and stayed that way for most of the pregnancy. I tried everything I could and nothing worked. Finally, I gave up and just let it go. Next morning, my belly was a different shape and she'd flipped. At 37 weeks. When told there was no room for a breech twin to flip.

You still have a lot of time

the midwife would have to refer me to the OB at the hospital for the ECV so not sure they'd be as 'nice'

Tell your baby that at the next appointment you're going to have to schedule a c-section, that's what worked for me.

DS was breech from week 34 to week 38. I was going for a VBAC and while the OBs & midwives were cool with that they weren't keen on adding breech to the mix. I was putting off scheduling the C/S because all I wanted was to go into labor on my own (DD had been induced). I'd declined the ECV because I finally decided that if baby was going to be breech, there must be a reason. At 38 weeks the OB told me that at my next appt we would decide on a cut-off date (i.e. c-section). I completely accepted it. At 38w 4d, I went back and DS had flipped. I hadn't even noticed.

Two weeks later I had a perfect VBAC.

My advice is to do as much as you feel you need to do...and then surrender and know that whatever happens is what was meant to be.

Well this is sort of funny. I'm absolutely opposite. I'm doing an ECV but will not do all the other hijinx.

We did note he was really small. After a failed NST at 39 weeks, I was induced. When he was born we all immediately saw why he was small, and why he had prefered breech. He had a true knot in his cord, and the cord length was very short.
Sometimes there is a reason. I would focus on relaxation and the spinning stuff.
This is what I was thinking of when I said there is a reason- my cousin's son was transverse and had a TRUE knot. Maybe he didn't want to move because he was getting the best blood flow that way, who knows?
