The Fab 5 are back and my Tuesdays have meaning again.

Anybody seen the first 3 shows? Wasn't that OCD collector guy strange?
Warning :: Spoiler Ahead! Highlight to read message!
Yet his gf was so glad to say "yes."

I tune in every week

It's neat to see Jai playing more of a role, although it seems that that is playing a part in their choice of straight guys lately. Oh well.

And yeah DaryLLL, that guy was weird! All those muffin pans.

I thought my fridge was bad until I saw last night's episode. :Puke

I watch with two friends every Tuesday night and we all refer to OCD guy as "serial killer". Seriously, there was some really strange mojo coming off of him.

I LOVE this show and the wonderful thing is I have dh hooked on it now too so not only does he NOT argue with me about watching it Tuesday nights but also looks to see when old episodes might be on.

Ahhhhhh finally the man has earned some brownie points. lol

BTW- That OCD guy was just WRONG!!! I couldn't believe that!!

DH and I both love this show.

But yeah, the OCD guy was really, really weird. We are talking about the comedian, right? I get them all mixed up in my head sometimes. And I hated the haircut they gave him. I thought it made him look like a sleazy louge singer.

The young guy this week? Didn't get that show at all. First of all, there wasn't much to fix on him - he looked and dressed fine. Apparently he smelled bad, though, and the reason why was obvious when they showed that he didn't shower before getting ready for his big night. I don't get that - how do people not know they should shower on a regular basis???

Plus, how come other guys get furniture and clothing from upscale stores and this guy got Ikea and Century 21?

This week's show was so romantic. Those figure skaters! Wasn't it so adorable how the Fab 5 were hugging and snuggling on the couch while they watched the romantic Central Park date?

Nice antidote to the icky OCD guy's show.

cause ikea and century 21 paid, betcha. i heard they've been doing imbedded sponsorship.

a straight figure skater, bwahahaha. they were gorgeous!

Actually I think I read somewhere that almost all the stores they use in the episodes pay for product placement. I think that guy got Century 21 and IKEA because the idea is that they match the person's lifestyle, and he was kind of on the broke side. They don't want to set him up with way expensive furniture and clothes and then have him not able to maintain that so that in six months he just looks like crap again, or whatever. At least, that's the impression I got.

I assume every store, restaurant, theater and product they use gives them a kickback for placement.

I see Thom is doing ads for Pier One now. Which is odd, as I haven't seen them use Pier One stuff in any show. They probably will later this season.

dh & I love this show.....
we just got their book.
i read somewhere thet get a really low amount per episode - not like some of the othe talentless folks on tv...

i liked the ocd guy- like when he talked to his girlfriends folks in Polish...
