I don't start posts often, and I don't like to gloat, but LOOK AT ME! I am successfully co-sleeping with a nursing newborn. LOOK AT ME! I'M DOING IT! And it feels great, and it is working. Go me! And thanks to everyone who has posted tips and tricks to make nighttime nursing and co-sleeping possible.
I am just so excited; wanted to share with people who would understand (not my mom, who is totally freaking out). There really is something to those research studies about moms and newbs synchronizing sleep states. I'm feeling pretty well rested most of the day. I just wish my first child was this easy, but man, I'm STOKED!
Thanks for letting me have my moment.

I jsut at this time don't feel completely safe with her in our bed al night... Not with the loose bedding we have not with DH there not with how deep sleepers we both are... But shes sleeps right beside me in her cradle I barely have to lift her to bring her to my breast at night (I still nurse in bed) I love stroking her back and jsut watchign her in the wee hours of the night as she drifts back into a deep sleep and I gently place her back into her "safe spot' snf I love steeling moments during the day when I alone can take her back into the bedroom with out the loose bedding or extra people or extreme deep sleep and grab a nap with her tucked at my side...
