men's shaving cream? what do you use?

What do you or the men in your life use for a gentler shaving cream?

My DH likes simple products, but not too too simple if that makes any sense at all...does that make sense?

Dr. Bronner's makes a shave gel in 5 different scents--including unscented. Can't say anything about it 'cause dh loves his mainstream crap.

My DH just uses a natural shaving soap bar with a badger-hair brush.
He's very happy with it and I am too as it seems to last forever (I think he got the one he currently uses more than 3 years ago, but then he only shaves once per week).

Some would debate how "natural" products made by Lush are..... but their Shave the Planet shaving cream is the only stuff that my DH has tried (natural or not) that doesn't irritate the heck out of his face. It seems very expensive at first, but one of those little pots lasts DH an entire year.
