i´ve read it could be cuz it´s going through very quickly or because of bacteria in the intestines...

he´s coming out of hte pox, eats very very good, everything. no pain, no fever. just horribly smelling farts and yellow poop.

how long has this been going on? If it just started when he got CP, Id ventiure a guess that his body is just handling the illness, if it has been going on for a while before he got CP, then it's probably unrelated and Id look at his diet.

My kids' poop often gets lighter after an illness. For them, I focus on easily digestible foods (moreso with a gastro illness) and probiotic foods or supps, and it goes away within a reasonable timeframe.

Bacterial balance in the gut can change when we're sick, I think that's part of it with my kids. And oftentimes, they don't digest fat as well when they're sick, so somehow bile is involved--since it's involved in the proper coloration of poop and digesting fats. Not sure of all the causalities, but if it gets back to normal in a reasonable timeframe, I'd not worry.

yeah, it started about one week into the pox. i also thought it was his body "handling" the pox...he has also been taking antihistamines, zyrtec, for his rash. maybe that´s it also?

thanks alot!
