Hi mamas

Quick charting question...I have a BFP yesterday (yay!!) and think that I'm 17-18 DPO. I say "think" because my chart has lots of missing temps because I'm up a lot with my 12 month old. However, I did keep track of CM. On my suspected O date I had lot of EWCM, which went to creamy for a day, and then back to EWCM for 2 days. Would this be indicative of a second egg releasing and the possibility of twins (we covered all bases in terms of BD)?

Well, if you were having sex without a condom, it seems it would be kinda hard to differentiate between sperm and mucus.

Twins, I doubt. More likely it was extra semen or arousal fluids that took a day or two to work out. Or you had a cycle with scattered EWCM...I tend to have two peak EWCM days, too, but only one ovulation spike.

I agree that if you are 100% certain it is NOT leftover from DTD... its likely just a month with split up CM. I have extremely regular cycles, almost always quite identical but once or twice I did get that (and was not from releasing more than one egg, that usually happens within 12-24 hours not 48+ hours later)

I found some causes can be as simple as just being a little more dehydrated one day (which is why some women who usually get tons of EWCM can have a month seemingly without any... your hydration has a huge effect on your body) or how active you are (its not the amount coming out of you that matters, after all, you only see that after it has leaked out of you from where it belongs... up inside of your cervix/uterus to guide the little spermies where they want to go)
