How common is rice sensitivity/allergy?

My 10-month-old DS seems to have his eczema flare up when I eat too much rice or if he eats rice. How common is it to be allergic/sensitive to rice? I thought it was one of the least allergenic foods.

My DS was sensitive/intolerant to rice. After 18 months off it, he now has it once every 4 days in his rotation. It's not common, but there's no such thing as a hypo-allergenic food. I think the mothers on this board have proved that any food can cause any symptom.

Yep- Kathy's right. There is no such thing as a hypo-allergenic food. It's not really common, but my DD is IgE ("true" allergy) to rice and most other grains as well.
