new baby & toddler

Hello! I am about to have a second baby within the next couple of weeks & have a 2 year old son already. Wondering if anyone has helpful experiences & advice to share regarding this transition from the point of view of the first child? We have been talking to him over the months about what will happen & making sure he knows he will still get to have his milk (he´s still breastfeeding). He really loves babies & is super gentle & friendly with them. We feel he is gonna love having a little brother or sister- I am just nervous about the breastfeeding & making him feel that I am just as available, when I am not really!!!

Sit on the floor as much as possible. Best advice I ever got!

If there's anyone else who can be there to give your 1st the same amt of attention he's used to win the really early days whilst your body recovers and you get used to two.....
and yeah sit on the floor alot - then you're immediately available for cuddles, seeing things from a child's angle,
and involving your 1st in as much or as little as needed
mine are 20 mths apart, and the 1st 6 or so months were a little crazy, but no major issues, nad htey're best friends.

It'll MOST likely be great.
Congratulations, mama
