suddenly dd has loose bm in EVERY diaper, 15+ diaper changes a day

dd is 4 months old. prior to this happening, she would only have a bowel movement once every 48 hours or so. (and then it would be explosive!). Well, in the past 36 hours, she's having little bms with EVERY diaper change. And because she cries when she has poop in there, I'm changing her diaper ALL THE TIME, 15-20 times a day.

What could this be from? She's the 3rd child I've breastfed, and I don't remember this every happening with my others. Is it just a diarrhea-bug?

I would love to know as this just started happening with me.. from one pop every few days to 6+ today.

Is there any mucous in the poop? That could indicate a viral or bacterial infection. Does the poop look normal or different than it usually looks? I need poop details!

Honestly, it sounds like a virus. I wouldn't worry about it unless it persists longer than a few days or a week, or unless she starts looking dehydrated.
