etsy and user names

I understand that you can't have your etsy link in your sig without an advertising package.

but what if i wanted to make an etsy store called MadiMamacita- would that be allowed?

What about the reverse- what if my etsy name was Starfish and I came to MDC and created a profile with Starfish as my username?

We aren't going to be scouring Etsy for member names. If someone has the same name for both we wouldn't really know about it unless someone put it in their sig or something.

We do have rules against having a business name be the same as their username.
