best type of auto microfiber towel for doubler?

i'm looking to use microfiber towel found in the auto section as doublers.

is there a difference between the terry mf towel and the smoother ones (labeled for glass and said to be lint free)?

I don't know but if they are colored, the colors will never stop running and ruining your other diapers. Ask me how I know. The bumGenius towels are white and 6 for $10 which is still a good deal for inserts.

I never had a problem with the colors bleeding....

I dislike very much the smooth ones. They 'catch' on my rough skin. Ick. When DD was a baby I bought a huge pack of them at walmart- super cheap and I am still using them all except the 2 smooth ones that were in the bag. I also have some from Dollar General and they are both pushing 4 years of constant use- and are just fine!

I get whichever ones are cheapest! And so far, that hasn't included any 'smoother' ones.

I haven't had any trouble with colors bleeding either. Maybe the dyes used on them are different now? idk..
