What moisturizer do you use?

My dd has a few dry spots, and, up until now I'd been using a maternity/baby lotion, but all of the sudden she seems to have developed a bit of sensitivity to it. I've used Johnson's a few times, but I always hear bad things about all the chemicals. What do you use on your lo?

We've been using the California Baby Lotion. I really like it, it's scent free, light, and non-greasy.

I love Weleda calendula lotion.

My son's skin is so sensitive to everything.

We use aveeno -- fragrance-free.

I use Burt's Bees Baby Bee buttermilk lotion. I use it on myself too. I heard good things about the super hypoallergenic Mustella line.

Everyday Shea unscented from Whole Foods.

2nd. I LOVE this stuff. We've been using it since DD was a newborn. If we could afford it I'd love to use it on myself too. But it's a bit too spendy when your belly is full of a new baby.

I love the Burt's Bees Lotion. I love the way it smells! I would use it on my older DD, but she likes the sparkly lotion from Bath and Body Works that my MIL got me for Christmas. DD2 had some pretty dry patches on her shoulders and on her hips right where her diaper is, but if I rub her down every other day or so, it goes right away. I also don't bathe her too terribly often, maybe once a week unless she really needs it.

I'll 3rd the Weleda calendula lotion. The baby cream is also great - it is thicker than the lotion & great for really dry skin.

I also love Burt's Bees buttermilk lotion, but we're using up our Weleda before we get anything new.

I am not a fan of the California Baby lotion - it was unscented, but I couldn't stand the smell. Weird, I know.

California Baby Calendula Cream.

Or just plain Lansinoh Lanolin if it's just a few bad, rough, dry spots.

I agree. We use it, but the smell is weird.

That. I recall reading something about almond oil's ability to help regulate body heat or maintain body heat. Definitely a good thing for the littles.
