The Good, the Bad and the just plain Ugly - Baby Clothes

Ok, this is a thread spin-off of NicoleS' silly question thread! As new moms we've got a pretty good idea of what's practical for dressing our children. Maybe during a crazy pregnant fit you purchased, or were given an outfit only fit for a bit of online fun. So, show us your beautiful babies, however they are dressed! I'll go first...

Here's Iago modelling the finest of the fine in today's Spanish baby attire. A little back story: Truly I am grateful. Some kind and generous family from Spain sent us a suitcase full of baby clothes and most of the stuff is awesome (think cute kimonos and some clothes still with tags, ect.) There are also some doozies! Check it out: my little man in tights, white tights!

Mine aren't impractical, but they aren't traditional baby clothes.

Tie dye shirt (done by sister) with homemade fleece soaker, on mat decorated by sister.

Frog hat.

March Madness.

Skull gown.

If I detailed all his hilarious clothes this thread would be too long. But if I can snap a picture of him in the booties I made with claws, I will.

Other clothes...so fun to see! I agree that the tights are a bit much...I was expecting something with more ruffles!

We don't have anything too odd here...not much that fits him, to be honest. I do have to giggle that one of the sweet older couples at our church bought him fuzzy-purple slippers (guess they thought purple was a boy's color)...my DH laughed at them, but ironically they are the ONLY thing that will stay on his feet...so my little man rocks out fuzzy purple slippers pretty much every day!

I too have a lot more Iago doesn't fit yet. Including the pom pom tights I mentioned in the first thread!

Some people give the biggest clothes to infants. On one hand, it'd be kinda nice not to have to buy everything at that age. On the other hand, you'd hope that it's still in style once he fits it.

I couldn't see the purple slippers either.

My little guy hates changing clothes - screams his head off - and I returned or donated a lot of the really ugly stuff. So I'll just show you the good:

JustSlimplicity, the booties are just a basic bootie pattern, and I added the claws myself.

Linchi, I was thinking of that (the whole new reptile)! Funny. He'd be like a frogigator, or a toadadile, or a fragon. LOL.
