which products do you buy, without a doctor's prescription, just in a drugstore or supermarket?

i have terrible hay fever and suffer mainly of a running nose/headeaches/itching eyes and a really congested nose....

there are so many medications that i dont know which one is less dangerous to take!

i would really appreciate your suggestions!

I drink nettle infusions and take 2g sodium ascorbate - if I stay on top of this I am virtually symptom free.

I use Zyrtec children's liquid.
Have you tried a neti pot? I know a bunch of people that said they didn't need meds anymore during pollen season if they used their neti pot every day.
Are you BFing? Pregnant?

i havent tried any of the named yet. but i will look into them for sure, thanks!

i am not BFing anymore and i am also not pregnant - so i can use the "heavier" stuff as well (but i am more concerned about the ingredients - they should be ok and non-toxic).

Did you have a professional recommendation for a specific homeopathic remedy? Dh's severe asthma and allergies were resolved with classical homeopathy. But, many people benefit from the 'shot-gun' approach of the Bio-Allers homeopathic combos.

Don't kick it till you tried it. The thing with homeopathy is that you have to redose for continued benefit, as needed. Not regularly, just as symptoms recur. Might be a few times the first few doses, then less frequently.

Dh takes a homeopathic remedy about monthly, or so. Much healthier than the inhaled steroids and brochodilators and antihistamines he used to rely on around the clock, 9 months of the year.

I'd also look into gut healing to address allergies and inflammatory processes systemically. Where to start? Help 101
