Hi!
My 4.5 mo DS is unfortunately sensitive to a lot of what I like to eat. I've had to cut way back on dairy, eliminate eggs, soy, peanuts and sadly, chocolate. It's been months since I had any chocolate, but I won't forget how gassy and upset he was and the blood in the diaper.
I've been using stretch mark oil all along and I just realized that it has cocoa butter in it. Is it possible for the cocoa butter to make it into my breastmilk? My DS is fussy some of the time, although part of that is teething, and I'm desperate to find any way I can help him out. I stopped using the stretch mark oil this week which is fine because my stretch marks are pretty faded now. I just want to know if I should be vigilant about not using skin care products with cocoa butter.
