(for more background info if interested there's a big long post about ds here titled "what do you think? Normal? Processing issue? Asperger's?")
Exactly what the subject says. Most specifically, if my son no longer qualified for a full IEP for kindy, could I get him one of these and would it save us having to redo all the testing, interviews, etc. for a full IEP if we find when he gets into the more structured, longer day that he *does* need help?
I am told they have to meet certain qualifications to keep an IEP? I can't just keep something with one goal on it just because I want it as a safety net during his transition? (this was something his kindy teacher suggested I push for....to be honest I'll have to see more of this teacher to see if I *like* her as an advocate or if she is 'too pushy' for unnecessary labels....see other post.)
