Is this line pink?

Ok, so when it's someone elses test I have no problem determining IF I see a line and IF it's pink.

But now today I have this FRER (pink wrapper) in front of me and my logical brain sees a veeeery faint pink line. But the can-it-actually-be-real-and-happening-to-me part of my brain tells me it MUST be an evap.

The funny thing is that I don't even have to squint and/or take it out in the AZ sun and hold it up to the blazing ball in the sky to see it. It's just there. Is it mocking me in gray or is it telling me it's a BFP in pink???

I am 11 DPO today and poa FRER yesterday (FMU) and saw a line even fainter than this, but still looked like it had a touch of pink to it and did it again this a.m. (FMU) that looked about the same as yesterdays test. I had one more test to burn to I held it for 4 hours this afternoon (even though I gave myself a RAGING kidney infection doing that very same thing last month!) and now I am getting a little loopy for all this wondering.

I also took a FRER Gold Digital test this a.m. (FMU) and it gave me a very mean -NO. so I'm hoping those are just less sensitive than the FRER stick test?

Any thoughts? I'd totally appreciate your eyes cause I don't trust mine anymore! And then to make it worse when you search on evap/false positive for FRER - pink wrapper -- do can find examples of them.

Thanks!

Thanks for looking and for telling me you think it's pink!!!

I should add that this line came up almost immediately - as in like a minute as did the two previous tests.

So now I have to unconvince myself that it's just a false positive!

How mental can I be? Thanks for understanding and reading all this babling!!

how to unconvince yourself:

go buy a first response gold digital

its YES+ is undeniable and will not lie to you.

Thats what it took me to convince me my FRER lines were real.

Thanks everyone!

MaerynPearl - I remember thats how you were convinced and I did that, but as of this a.m. it took forever to tell me No Way Jose!

Luckily it's a two pack and I'll try again tomorrow a.m.

Although the BFM's I got today was from the middle of the afternoon, so now should I be torn about using FMU or middle-of-the-afternoon-U???

Just when I thought I couldn't be a bigger freak!

Thanks!

The reason they tell you to use FMU (outside of reasons already given) is also to give your body more time to produce more hcg... if you get a line in the morning... likely another line later in the day will be a bit darker... and if thats the case the next mornings FMU will probably be darker yet...

It took FOREVER for my ICs to get darker, but my FRERs were darker each and every time I took them. If only by a shade or two (being an artist, I can spot a tiny difference like that really easily lol)

Thanks MP! Makes perfect sense. I'll save the digi for the am and use one of the answers early results -- I just picked up -- in a few hours after holding for four.

Thanks!!!

That is exactly how my first positives looked this time around. I wasn't sure either especially all of the stories going around about false positives/evaps on the pink foil frers. I noticed the line came up pretty quickly and got more color as the test dried. But yours look very much like my first positives! Congratulations!!

Demeter - Thanks! Good to hear other stories from someone who's been in the same boat.

It's like you spend all this time trying to get to *this* place and then when you might actually be in *this* place, in kicks the shock & denial!! It's too exciting to even be a real possibility - even thought this is exactly what we were trying for!

Ok, ONE last photo.

http://canyouseealine.com/view_home_...fm?testID=6590

I was going to try to wait to tell my DH, but I just can't keep good news to myself so, I handed this digi to my 2 year old and he brought it out to him in the garage. He looked at it for a few seconds, got a huge smile and got really excited and happy!

The funny part? I saved my FMU this morning so I could dip the digi in it when no one was around. But when I went to the bathroom for the second time (45 minutes after FMU) I forgot all about the saved FMU and peed on the stick. As I was peeing I realized what I was doing and was all freaked out because I knew it would be not concentrated enough and that I had wasted a test. I pulled it out of my pocket a few minutes later and was shocked to see it was positive!!!

Good luck to everyone!
