My 4 1/2 month old son has developed an intense need to suck lately. He nurses on demand but even that doesn't seem to satisfy him enough. He isn't satisfied sucking on my finger for very long either. He keeps sticking his fingers (then whole fist) into his mouth and gagging himself really bad. He never was interested in passy's before and I was never really interested in giving them but I tried them a couple times in the past 2 days. I tried two kinds and the both made him gag too. What to do??? Please help.

Hey there mama I don't have very much advice for you but my dd did the same thing. Eventually I got her to take a nuk the gerber brand passy and she stoped gaging herself after a wile. It took some time but she figured it out eventually. As long as he isn't making himself puke I wouldn't worry too much. Hell figuer out how much is too much to cram in soon enough. I use to just pull her hand back a bit so she wouldn't gag anymore but that's all I can tell ya. Good luck mama.
