Comparing circumcision to chicken pox (bear with me, I have a point!)

I know, the title sounds weird, but this just occured to me.

About 100 children a year used to die from chicken pox, hence the creation of the vaccine. I choose not to give my children that vax, and many people think I'm really weird for choosing to take the risk that my kids might get sick, might DIE from chicken pox.

About 100 baby boys a year die from routine circumcisions. Yet it's an accepted medical practice, and people might think I'm weird for not doing it. After all, my boys could get an infection, they could get adhesions, they could get...TEASED!! (sarcasm...I don't believe any of it, I know it's not proven, but those are the arguments pro-circ'ers use).

Think about it...

My dr makes me sign a declination form for vaccines (I heavily edit it), I half expect a declination form to come out for parents who choose to leave their sons intact, especially if the CDC changes their mind on their circ recommendations as a result of the AIDS research.

SO...if someone circumcizes then chooses to vaccinate against chicken pox, they are a giant oxymoron. (pun intended)
