Is it Possible to Tell You're Pregnant After Just 3 or 4 Days?

Hi--we are first-timers here Been trying all week (ovulation week). Today and yesterday I'm feeling some things I haven't felt before. Just some cramping and "movement" in the uterus. Little hard to explain.

Just wondering if anyone could "feel" that they were pregnant before it was time to test?! I'm super excited and realize that I may be psyching myself out, but am also one of those people very in tune with my body and am wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks!

Its just that you are paying more attention than normal. That isnt to say you arent pregnant... but totally normal to go through this when you first start to TTC and wonder if its normal. Its normal.

That said, yeah you can get symptoms that early but it is EXTREMELY rare. Theres no test to possibly tell you for sure for a while yet though.

Before implantation there's no shared blood supply between baby-to-be and mom so no hcg in mom's blood to 'tell' the body she's pregnant and thus give symptoms. That's not to say some people don't report super early symptoms, but there's not really a good physiologic explanation for that.

Fingers crossed for you!!

I had this. Wasn't pregnant. It happened the first few cycles of trying, I think mainly because my focus had been more shifted to there.

I've heard many women say they felt those feelings too and WERE pregnant though, but all of them were currently trying, so again, focus was there.

Good luck on your two week wait, and welcome to MDC
