hello 21 month old DS is going to be a big brother in about a month so I am really wanting to correct this behavior soon. Whenever he gets mad at me he hits me. Usually when I say no to num nums (nursing) So far he doesn't hit dh or anyone else just me. He has always been a fit thrower too. He would throw himself back and hit his head on the floor then get mad at the floor for hurting him!. We don't spank him. Infact we don't know how to discipline him. I know everyone says time outs for 1 minute per year of age but how on earth do you get a 21 month old active boy to sit in a chair for one minute let alone understand why he is there to begin with?
