Can you recommend a series I might like?

Last year I found three series of books that I really enjoyed -

The Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris
The Faefever series by Karen Marie Moning - even read the companion romance series (again, not my thing but funny and not horrible)
The Lady Julia Gray series by Deanna Raybourne

I wouldn't have picked ANY of these on my own but I really enjoyed all of them, especially the first two because there were just so MANY. They were quick reads with some action and humor and not too challenging but not totally stupid either.

Can anyone recommend another series (or two or three or ten?) I might like? I need something fun and light to get me through the summer.

I've just read all the available books in the Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine and I LOVE them! They are very engaging.

The Clare Fergussen books by Julia Spencer-Fleming.

They're not fun and light, exactly. But they're totally gripping, with a good dose of humor and a feisty protagonist. Clare is a newly ordained Episcopal priest (and former Army helicopter pilot) sent to a rectory in rural upstate NY. The first in the series, In the Bleak Midwinter, in which she finds a newborn abandoned on the church steps, is terrific - as are the others.

The characters really develop through the series - as does Clare's gradual friendship with the local police chief...

I was reading the 'In Death' series by JD Robb. I think there are 30 of them now

I love the Alphabet Series by Sue Grafton. I've had a lot of friends get hooked on them too! They are about a female PI in the 80s. Very entertaining- good summer books.

C.S. Harris' series - Raybourne reminds me a lot of her St. Cyr series

Patricia Brigg's "Mercy Thompson" series - though all of Briggs' stuff is really amazing
