I've just been looking at his picture. He's so gorgeous Based on his picture I thought:

Leo, Gabriel (but Gabe for short) or Jacob.

Wishing you inspiration! I know we didn't have a boy's name planned for Toby - and DH is still not 100% sold on Tobias! (but he loves the meaning). I do love it and just felt it was "his name". I hope you find that for your LO.

yeah, (nak) we don't have any names we like on either side.
We did look through a cool baby names book from 1941 that we got at the library but nothing jumped out too strongly yet.
we are working hard at it though.

I looooooooooove James!!!!! It's the perfect man and baby name . It is our number 1 for a ds if we are blessed with one. I also love Gavin. Cavan really doesn't do it for me... Teo is fine but, Kai is way better, imo. Topaz seems like you are trying too hard...

I was going to say James Chaucer. or Teo Chaucer. Really, I like Chaucer as a middle and could make any of the others go with it

What if you looked at it a different way? Instead of trying to choose a name that fits baby now, how about one that fits the person you want him to grow into?

I personally have never seen a baby and thought "wow, he really looks like a Sam, I can't believe his parents named him Jorge". I think children grow into their names, whatever they may be.

And no name has yet come to us easily. so that is why it is not happening yet!
I know it doesn't have to be perfect but it is still a powerful thing- to name someone!

I just think you need to trust your instinct and gut on the matter.... I agree, to name him something that you envision for him... a baby will grow into their name and become it. It is a powerful thing but even more so is the way you raise him. what are your top names and how do you feel about each of them?
