Issue with staying logged on...

I am having to log on to MDC every time now. I click on the remember me box, yet I still need to log on every time I return.

This started happening when I deleted my cookies and browsing history 3 or 4ago. This has never happened before (and I delete my cookies every few weeks) I am able to stay logged on on other forums and websites.

Did I do something goofy when i deleted my cookies, or is something going on with MDC right now?

We recently ran a small update and things might be a bit glitchy until it resolves. Let me know if you continue to have issues.

It's still happening over here also. Are things still resoving? I can be pateint, but wasn't sure how long to wait to let you know it is still happening..... or do I need to start a new thread to let you know?

ps. I also cannot find a thread i posted a few days ago. I am not sure if it was moved or if this is just more glitchy stuff.

What browser are you all using? I'm not having this issue on Firefox, but I can try another and see if I can duplicate it. I *did* need to do a hard refresh of Firefox after the maintenance was done. Maybe that will help if you are also using FF?

Ctrl+F5 keys on Windows or Shift+Command+R on Mac

I am using internet explorer, and what is weird is that mothering was working fine UNTIL I cleared my cookies etc. I am not so computer savvy, so I am wondering if I did something goofy in the process.? and also to repeat, I am not having problems anywhere else.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Do you think I could "force" refresh on IE the same way?

I have been having this problem as well and I use firefox. I tried deleting my cookies a couple days after this problem started but It didn't help ( I could have not done it right I'm new the the whole computer thing lol)

Nice to know I'm not alone in my issues.

hope someone gets it figured out.

ps. I also had the disappearing thread issue where when I went into my stats it wasn't in my post history.

If you cannot find something pm the forum moderator or an administrator (me or georgia) and ask them. We should be leaving removed notices but sometimes we might forget.

It started right after the upgrade. I tried deleting my cookies yesterday, but I'm still not staying logged in.

Me too. I was only having issues here.

Had to look it up to remember since I haven't used IE in awhile

Hold the Ctrl key, and press F5. ~or~ Hold the Ctrl key, and click the Refresh button on the Start bar.

I tried on his computer and I had no issues. BUT, I also haven't logged in on that computer in a very long time.

I'm having the same problem on IE. At first, I thought I got logged out simply becuse I haven't been here in a while (gotta check MDC on AFD, right?). But then I left MDC and came back numerous times and had to re-log in each time. Maybe I should just stay logged into MDC 24/7 rather than shutting my computers off at night?

I'm still getting logged out. I've cleared all my cookies, and restarted my computer. And I did ctrl+F5.
