Undercooked meat and pregnancy...

Last night we went to a friend's for dinner and they made hamburgers/hotdogs. I can't eat the hotdogs so I grabbed a hamburger. I took about 2 (maybe 3) bites of it and because of the lighting couldn't see if it was well done. I looked over at my husbands which was bright pink in the middle. So I asked to heat mine up in the microwave. When I looked at mine in the kitchen it was definately pink (not bright like DHs) -- DH said mine was "medium well looking". So ... I heated it for 30 seconds to well done and finished eating. Should I be concerned -- should I call a dr. Is there anything that can be done if I didn't get a bacteria or some other nasty bug from it? I would NEVER eat undercooked meat prior to pg and so I'm even more concerned now but really couldn't tell because of the lighting, etc. WWYD?

unless the inside was cold there's not really anything to worry about... even a medium cooked meat can look pink in the middle yet have the meat all the way through be the temperature needed to kill off any bad things... thus not be undercooked. If your hubby thinks it was medium well then I would assume the pink wasn't really bright pink (well you said that) or bloody in which case you were fine without even microwaving it.
