i'm soooo happy today, because i found a new source for pastured eggs! Here in the UK it is almost impossible to find eggs from chickens not fed any soy, and previousely i got eggs only rarely, when i went to a farm, where the farmer told me a few of the chickens arent fed the pellets, so he would collect eggs for me from them if i call a couple of weeks in advance. Then the other week, i was at a new farmers market and they had organic goose eggs (only in season, and this year the farmer who i previousely got goose eggs from decided not to do markets anymore) and they're only fed grass and wheat! And then today, I went to a farmers market with my mum that i hadnt been to in a few months (we turned it into a nice day out as the surrounding area is really nice, with lovely little shops, a fancy french fromaergie, etc) and theres a new producer there and they have chickens, geese, ducks and turkeys and they ONLY feed them stuff they grow themselves - i.e no soy whatsoever!
This means i can have a regular supply of eggs. And im going to that farm anyway next week, and will be picking up a LOAD of pastured biodynamic eggs!
i don't know why eggs are making me so happy, haha, but i know you guys would understand
