can this be made safe??

We have a 5yo, almost 3yo, and a 5mo. We co-sleep, although for the most part the baby and I sleep in the guest room. We are in the guest room because I didn't want her sleeping in the bed with her older sisters alone, so I take her to the guest room at bedtime. Since that bed is on a frame I am not comfortable leaving her for very long in that bed alone. This translates to me being in bed all evening with a sleeping baby (and then being too lazy to go to the family bed later on). I would like a little more freedom and I would like her to get used to sleeping for short periods without someone next to her.

The bed arrangement in there is 2 full size mattresses on boxsprings pushed together. The head of the bed is pushed against the wall, one side of the bed is pushed up to the back of a dresser and the other side has a bed rail (she wouldn't be sleeping on that side). The baby would be sleeping on the bed whose side is pushed up to the dresser. She is a strong baby. Rolling easily both ways and nearly crawling. The 5yo and almost 3yo do move around in bed some (some nights more than others). We always have a monitor on in there, but there is also a fan for white noise, so we don't hear every little movement.

Is there a way to have the baby sleep in the family bed when dh and I are not in there and have it be safe? Or is this a dangerous situation that I shouldn't fool around with? Thanks for any ideas/suggestions/warnings.
