Fat thighs... saggy butt

I am just wondering if anyone esle has this issue. I have a VERY fat DD. she is 4.5 months old and about 22 lbs!!! I am having issues with her dipes/covers. I need to get/make her more but need to find out what is the best solution. Her thighs are so fat that it is hard to wedge the diaper/cover between her legs and no matter how snug the cover it gets pulled down by her thighs and shows her booty-crack. Will just a higher rise cover do the trick, or will it still sag down? Point me in the right direction!!

what covers are you using right now? for our fat dd (lol) , we had good luck with thirsties duos and blueberry coveralls. they are one size so you'd have some options as far as the rise goes.

This has to be one of the funniest thread titles I've ever seen...

I think my DS is built like your DD lol. My problem is the actual prefold diaper itself though.. I have a hard time wrapping it around his chunky little butt so it doesnt sag and let poo leak out onto his soakers. Thankfully he only poops every other day!

He does get the plumber crack from his legs pulling down on his pockets too, even though I have them on the highest rise setting, and he is only 4 months The soaker covers go up really high, and they are pretty snug over his prefolds, so they dont sag as bad.. they just leak poo sometimes.

mostly homemade fleece covers but her thirsties duo and bummis small were doing it before she really outgrew them. We trifold ipfs in them which may make it worse? I can snappy a diaper rite size med on her and it will not sag but the snappy hardly stretches far enough (as the pf hardly overlaps on the sides) and the dipe come so far down her legs no cover would cover it.

After you snappy the PF, you can sort of roll the legs in so it goes up higher on her thighs. Also helps to contain the poo! I think you might also try a bigger PF and the toddler-size snappy if it's barely reaching.

As far as covers go, my DDs are skinny minnies but the only cover that hasn't left red marks on them (and I've tried them ALL) is the Imse Vimse Organic Cotton.
