Jute rug for my 4 boys room?

I'm thinking of buying this 3x5 chenille and jute rug for my boys room. I'm wondering how easy it is to keep jute clean, and if it will last?

Anyone know or have suggestions? Here's a link to the rug:

I'm also wondering if the light colored middle of the rug will look dirty rather quickly?

I have had 2 jute/sisal rugs. They hold up well, but stains, etc, are hard to get out, imo. We have pets, they caused the problem!! We had one under our dining room table for years, and it looked fine, but eventually it got stained. Vacuuming keeps it looking decent. If they aren't eating/drinking in their rooms, it should be fine!!

I've had a jute rug before, in the living room, with two big dogs.
The problem I encountered with the rug is that it let sand or sandy dirt through, underneath, and it kind of scratched up the floors a bit. Now, if your kids aren't sandy beasts, that might not matter....
but then- i just looked at the rug you were going to order, and it's canvas backed, so you should be good to go!
